Who we are

TeachMeCursive LLC makes TeachMeCursive, a handwriting practice service available on this website and in our iPhone and Android apps. These terms cover all of them. You can reach a real person at support@teachmecursive.org.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which TeachMeCursive LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Family accounts

One account belongs to one parent, guardian, or adult learner. That adult agrees to these terms and is responsible for everything done under the account.

Learner profiles inside a family are created and managed by that adult. Children do not sign up, sign in with their own email, or hold their own account. You agree to keep your password private and to tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. A family plan is for one household, not for sharing between households.

The free trial and subscriptions

• New families get an 8-day free trial. No card is needed to start it, and nothing is charged during it.
• After the trial, a family plan is $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices are in US dollars and may change. If a price changes, we will tell you before your next renewal so you can decide.

How you pay, and refunds

If you subscribe on this website, our payment processor bills your card and we never see or store your card number. Cancel or update your card any time from the billing settings in your account.

If you subscribe inside the iPhone or Android app, Apple or Google bills you instead. Those purchases are managed, renewed, and refunded by Apple or Google under their own rules, so cancellations and refund requests go through your device's subscription settings rather than through us.

You do not need to pay twice. If you already subscribe in an app store, sign in on the web with the same account and everything follows you.

Using the service fairly

• Practice screens, worksheets, lessons, games, and certificates are ours and are licensed to you for your own family's personal or classroom-personal use.
• You may print and copy the worksheets for the learners in your care. Please do not resell them, publish them, or pass them off as your own.
• Do not attempt to break, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the service, and do not upload custom words that are unlawful or abusive.
• We may suspend an account that is being used in a way that harms other families or the service itself.

What we promise, and what we don't

We work hard to keep TeachMeCursive available, accurate, and pleasant to use, but the service is provided as is. Handwriting scores and feedback are practice aids, not assessments, diagnoses, or educational certifications.

To the fullest extent the law allows, TeachMeCursive LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and ending the agreement

We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change matters to you, we will email the address on your account and post the new date at the top of this page before it takes effect.

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will refund any unused prepaid time where the law requires it.
